The Grape Harvesting, Wine and Culture Festival in Rahovec/Orahovac is organized every year in the Fall season, when the grape starts to ripe, therefore, on this day the first grape is cut by the Presidency of the country. This festival was organized under the patronage of Kosovo's Presidency and it has a traditional character, which is traditionally organized for over ten years now. This great event brings together delegations and people from Kosovo and Albania so far, however in the future it is foreseen to expand the festival, on a regional and international level. The festival is traditionally held for three days, starting from the 7th of September until the 9th of September, every year. On the first day of the festival, there is an official opening of the festival, where around 12 pm, the festival star ts with welcoming speeches by the Presidency of Kosova, to continue with the speeches by the Mayor of the Municipality of Rahovec/Orahovac, Ministry of Agriculture officials, guest delegations from Albania and other municipalities. At 1 pm, the traditional cutting of the first grape in the vineyards is done, which symbolizes the start of the harvesting season. After the official opening ceremony, guests go back to town in order to enjoy the festival events and the variety of stands with wine, food, grape, souvenirs from all wineries from Kosova. Certainly, this special atmosphere of wine tasting of Kosovo, which is tasted by different guests and delegations, is always more tasteful when combined by different appetizers and other light traditional food. The festival gathers different groups of artists from the South Region of Kosova where they present their art-work, conduct various performances, drawing/painting and exposing their autochthonous hand works and add to the importance of the event. During the evenings of the festival concerts and various types of music performances for young people are organized, as well as other activities which continue until midnight. Festivali i Rrushit, Verës dhe Kulturës në Rahovec organizohet gjithnjë në stinën e vjeshtës, atëherë kur fillon pjekja e rrushit. Në këtë ditë bëhet këputja e kalaveshit të parë të rrushit nga Presidenca e vendit. Ky festival organizohej nën patronazhin e Presidencës së Kosovës, ka karakter tradicional dhe tashmë organizohet për me shume se dhjetë vite radhazi. Ky manifestim i madh tubon delegacione të ndryshme dhe njerëz nga Kosova dhe Shqipëria, deri tani. Por, në të ardhmen, mendohet që ky festival të zgjerohet dhe të marrë karakter regjional dhe ndërkombëtar. Festivali tradicionalisht mbahet tre ditë, duke filluar nga data 7 shtator dhe zgjat deri më 9 shtator. Në ditën e parë të festivalit, bëhet hapja zyrtare e festivalit, ku rreth orës 12:00 mbahen fjalimet përshëndetëse nga Presidenca e Kosovës, duke vazhduar me fjalime nga Kryetari i Komunës së Rahovecit, fjalime nga përfaqësues të Ministrisë së Bujqësisë, mysafirët nga Shqipëria dhe zyrtarë komunal. Në ora 13:00, në të njëjtën ditë, bëhet shkëputja zyrtare e kalaveshit të parë të rrushit në vreshta, me çka bëhet edhe fillimi i vjeljeve të rrushit për vitin përkatës. Pas kësaj ceremonie, mysafirët kthehen në qytet dhe vizitojnë stendat e ushqimit, rrushit, suvenireve dhe të verës së bodrumeve nga e gjithë Kosova. Sigurisht se më joshëse është vera e shkëlqyer e Kosovës, të cilën mysafirët e ndryshëm e provojnë, por gjithnjë të kombinuar me antipasta të lehta dhe ushqime tradicionale. Gjatë festivalit, vijnë edhe artistët e komunave të rajonit jugor qe paraqesin artin e tyre, bëjnë performanca, piktura të ndryshme dhe prezantojnë punimet e tyre autoktone të dorës, që rrisin vlerën e kësak ngjarjeje. Gjatë mbrëmjeve së festivalit, organizohen koncerte dhe muzikë e ndryshme për të rinjtë, si dhe aktivitete të tjera, të cilat vazhdojnë deri në mesnatë. Ejani dhe vizitoni Rahovecin gjatë këtyre ditëve të veçanta të Festivalit të Rrushit, Verës dhe Kulturës, organizuar nga data 7-9 shtator, për çdo vit.
Festivala Grožđa, Vina i Kulture u Orahovcu se održava uvek u jesensku sezonu, kada grožđe počinje da sazreva, na dan kada se službeno bere prvi grozd od strane predsedništva zemlje. Ovaj festival se održavlao pod pokroviteljstvom predsednika Kosova i ima tradicionalni karakter. Sada ovaj veliki događaj okuplja samo ljude sa Kosova i iz Albanije, ali u budućnosti, veruje se da će se ovaj festival prosiriti i dobiti medunarodni karakter. Uglavnom trodnevni festival odr žava se od 7. septembra, a zatim se nastavlja 8 i 9 septembra. Prvog dana, odnosno 7. septembra, službeno se otvara Festival, a oko 12 časova održavaju se pozdravni govori od strane Predsedništva Kosova, nastavljajuči sa Precednikom Opštine, Ministarstva Poljoprivrede, Industrije i Trgovine, Opštine Orahovac itd. U 13:00 časova je zvanična secesija prvog grozda od grožđa čime počinje berba grožđa za ovu godinu. Nakon ove ceremonije, gosti se vraćaju u gradove i posećuju vinske podrume i štandove vina sa celog Kosova. Naravno, da je naj primamljivo Kosovsko vino, koju probaju razliciti gosti uvek sa dobrom tradicionalnom hranom i drugom lakom hranom. Neizostavno ovog danu prisustvuju i umetnici raznih oblasti iz ove opštine koji dolaze svojim slikama, raznolikim i autohtonim ručnim radovima itd, i na taj način veličaju ovaj događaj. Naveče obično se organizuje raznovrsna muzika za mlade ljude, različite igre, koje traju do kasno uveče. Dodjite i posetite Orahovac ovih posebnihnih dana tokom Festivala Grožđa, Vina i Kulture, koji se održava od 7. septembra do 9 septembra, svake godine.
